ELiDOC

ELiDOC undertook the above project which is financed by NSRF, through an International Public Competition.

The project includes the development of application series, making use of open source software, as well as the digitalization and documentation of the material which will integrated in the Repository. In particular includes:

• The development of an application for creating, updating and viewing Digital Repositories, utilizing DSpace software to the latest version (includes faceted search employment, authority controlled lists, mobile acces, etc.)
• The development of an application for Unified Search, in Advance librarian database, in Institutional and Research Repository and also in the System for publishing Electronic Journals (OJS)
• The digitalization of approximately 260.000 pages (student essays, books, maps)
• The documentation of approximately 3.000 items
• The development of an application for publishment of electronic journals  and for management of electronic conference
• The development of a Portal to display library functions and for unified access to all the applications (Advance–Catalogue, DSpace–Repository, DSpace–Digital Library)
